CEIS seeks to provide fundamental Christian education to students in government schools across Canberra. This is provided in accordance with ACT Government legislation, in partnership with schools, parents, and children.

Our mission is to offer students across the ACT the opportunity to seek, question and explore the Christian faith through simple, accessible and inquiry-based lessons each term.

We believe that incorporating Christian Education is complementary to and supportive of the Australian Curriculum, providing students wit ha holistic education regarding religion, faith and ethics. 

Our approach is based fundamentally in curiosity and respect: there is no expectation or requirement to be a Christian in order to discover and ask questions about one of humanity’s most prominent religions.
