This can happen, and already is happening in some Canberra high schools!
CEIS is the team that organises Christian (chat) sessions in high schools, when students ask for it, with parent permission.
Below is a list of high schools where Christian (chat) sessions are already happening. Each one is a bit unique so click on the link to find out more.

Amaroo
The CEIS team are at Amaroo for one session each term. The high school group is still establishing but time and space is ready!

Kaleen (UC)
The CEIS team have met with the principal, who is ready for students to ask! One already has, so as soon as a few more do, we will get it started.

Kingsford Smith
The CEIS team are at Kingsford Smith for one session each term. Students from Yr 7 – 10 are coming along for a chat between 2-3pm on Tuesday of Wk 8.

Melba-Copland
The CEIS team started at Melba, with one student. This is now on pause but we are keen to go back and re-connect.

Melrose
The CEIS team have set up a relaxed chat group at Melrose called ‘The Pod’. Students from Yr 7-10 are coming along for a chat between 12.50-1.30pm on Friday of odd weeks – commencing Friday 9th August 2024. It’s usually in room .
